Lydia B. Cahan, President, Project Manager and Estimator

Growing up in the Lakes Region, Lydia watched as her father Andrew, and Uncles Stephen and David built Mas-Con Corporation into the successful company it is today. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Management and Policy, Lydia ventured to Colorado. After a year, she returned home to New Hampshire, where she immediately began working as a laborer for Mas-Con Corporation. After a summer in the field, Lydia transitioned to the office where she began working as a safety director. Completing her OSHA-30 and other numerous trainings, Lydia has extensive knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations and helps keep all employees up-to-date with their education and trainings, as well as changing OSHA standards. Lydia has taken many estimating classes to further develop her skills and acquired her Masters of Business Administration with a focus in project management. For nearly a decade now, Lydia has overseen a number of masonry and concrete projects. She hopes to continue her family’s business well into the future. In her downtime, Lydia can be found adventuring to Newfound Lake or Wells Beach, Maine, with her husband Sam, daughter Belden, and black lab Mookie.
